Olivier Rousteing Creative Director BALMAIN about “DIVERSITY”
We are all excited for the new H&M collaboration with French designer Olivier Rousteing of the House of Balmain. I run into a little video on CNN with the designer talking about “DIVERSITY” in fashion. I noticed already a few seasons that this designer loves to have a diversity of beauties on the catwalk show. For me that is so refreshing. Because, how can I relate with fashion if all models and campaigns have only images of (of course) beautiful white girls. In the CNN interview Olivier explains how he sees the world and I totally agree with him.
H&M X BALMAIN
Balmain mens and women’s collection with H&M will be in stores November 5th. I am not always eager for these fashion items. I only bought once a LANVIN dress and a VERSACE bomber. But I am happy H&M continue this concept so the people in the world with less coins can maybe have a High Fashion label in their closet.
