Sunny & The Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana Hotel

After visiting family and friends on Java (Jakarta and Bandung) and a wedding on Bali and again appointments with family and friends, it was time to relax. I was very exited to be invited for a couple of days at the Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana Hotel . This upscale beach front resort, in an urban chic style, is the perfect location to rest a little bit before my return back home in Amsterdam.

I was warmly welcomed by Fella Felicia, the PA of the GM of the hotel, who also invited me for their exhibition opening that afternoon in the amazing hotel lobby.

After my mother and I checked in we were escorted to our grand deluxe room #1563. Happy to see that this room with balcony has an amazing view overlooking the Hotel garden , the infinity pool and even the sea!  It couldn’t be more better. The interior was stylish and the use of colors was a mix of classic and modern browns. The warm deep orange wall gave me a little Hermès feel.  A separate shower and bath-tub, coffee / tea Making facilities, electronic safe, executive writing desk, in-house movie channels, free internet connection (cable/WI-FI), in room gym set and yoga mat and so much more.

The second most important thing for me, and I think for every girl, is the bathroom. Thank God there was a huge mirror and a make- up magnifying mirror. The lightning was perfect in this totally beige colored area. One can choose to have a relaxed waterfall shower or lay down in the bath tub. Our chamber robes were hanging stylish for us to wear.

The first thing I wanted to do was to visit the infinity pool. From this pool you see the beautiful legian beach and the Indian ocean! Here also is the IP – Poolbar who serve  a variety of cocktails, mocktails, fine wines, antipasti and tapas. (The resort features 3 bars with distinctive ambiance: The L Bar, The IP Pool Bar and The G Bar).

After swimming we decided to have a little lunch at the The Deli and B’z Restaurant. ( there are an extensive line up of dining and entertainment facilities are available at the resort, including Sembilan, a contemporary Balinese restaurant and The Deli, an upscale brasserie featuring French and International delicacies).

It was time to make myself ready for the exhibition in a few hours. Arrived in my room I found a nice welcome basket with fruits and a box with the delicious chocolate inside of Pod.

I really love the grandeur entrance of the hotel. Exactly here is the lobby where the opening was of the exhibition “Journey Through Asia” captured by the French photographer Jean-Paul Nacivet. My total look is by River Island.

After the exhibition we decided to call it for the evening. I guess we were really tired and we were actually looking so forward to sleep in that deluxe bed. On our way to our room I felt doing a little catwalk on the runways in the garden 🙂

It was a beautiful morning and we decided to have breakfast. There was an excellent choice of different food, from European till Asian. after breakfast we wanted to have a swim in the second pool of the resort. The management also invited us to visit their Tjakra – 7 Spa – Wellness Centre in the garden.

The Tjakra-7 Spa, a modern spa with a fully equipped wellness center. This spa boasts a hydro vitality pool which provides resonance frequency and gives positive chi into the water and to work out in the pool helps lower overall body acidities, release muscle tension and improves body circulation. I had a 60 minute massage and a 30 minute body scrub. I was reborn after this!

Kuta Beach and Legian Beach is in walking distance from  Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana. The resort is set in a natural, green, tropical and tranquil oasis and it is close to the heart-beat of Bali’s shopping, night life and recreation areas. I made a little walk around the area.

My last two days couldn’t be more perfect! I finally came in a relax mode. This resort is absolutely a place for those who visit Bali and  especially for those who need a few days to relax after exploring the beautiful Island. My stay in this resort was very short but the effect was amazing. I can only imagine to be there for a week. I would like to thank ofcourse The Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana Hotel for inviting me which is made possible by Bloggernet.
